I have just finished this piece. It is am old graphite drawing with some colour added to it. Latest version of Krita has been used. I downloadet it today and had two krashes. Lyckily the autosave function saved it both times.

That's 2.7.9.5 you downloaded? x86 or x64? It really shouldn't crash at all -- can you remember how you made Krita crash?

In any case, lovely piece of work :-)

I downloaded the 2.7.9.5 64.

I don't remember exactly what I did, I was just painting using some of the ordinary brushes. The size of the painting was 2852 x 3556. I had a scanned grayscale graphite drawing on a multiply layer and painted on a 8 bit RGB under that grayscale scanned drawing. After the second crash I reduced the size of the artwork by 50% and changed the grayscale to 8 bit RGB. And the rest of the jurney was just like I said: OK... :)

It sounds so much like an out-of-memory error, but that really cannot be the case with the x64 build... I am puzzled :-(
