This is my first post so I want to say: hello word! And say thanks for great program. I'm not a 2d artis but 3d. I'm making 3d visualisation and to this time I used Gimp or Photoshop. After I left my old company and take off my own business I decided to switch to open source for many reasons. And than I found that Krita can`t replace PS in post production of 3d visualisation. Here You have my last picture I made in Krita and Blender. Please comment and feel free to asking questions.

What I missing in post-production when I use Krita?
Several, rather small things. Some filters like 'Black and White' filter from PS, when I can choose some value on my own. Of course there are G`mic actions and filters but I use a lot of filter layers and filter mask so G`mic are not enough for me. And perspective transform tool - but I saw video with new version with similar even better in PS tool. I notice that motion blur sometimes crush Krita - maybe because my PC specification (only 12GB RAM). And clone brush don`t have option to switch that source point don`t always follow brush. But for now, Krita have a lot filters and brushes to make serious post-production work. |
