I was drawing some logos for fun the other night and I did this as a Krita fan. It's a clear, flat design with more yellow to increase the contrast with the brush (I found that this made the logo look better at tiny sizes). The typeface I used is called "Aquawax" and was designed by Zetafonts.

The new version is quite nice. The existing one has an airbrush type thing going on that makes it kind of muddy looking by the brush tip. I would say your design is cleaner. Good job.
