The rotoscoping was done in Krita. It would be nice if the file layer could use image sequences, so that moving to a specific frame would cause the image in the file layer to move to the matching offset in the sequence. As it was, I pointed the image layer to a file, copied the source frame to that file, painted it, copied the next source frame to the same file, painted it ... etc.Tiny little bit of post-pro in blender.
