I'm new to Krita and new to this forum. I'm from the Netherlands and as a hobbyist making digital art now and then. I used to work with Corel Painter, but after my computer crashed and I bought a new one, I decided to look for another sketching/painting program. I found... Krita! Never heard of it, but how pleased I am that I found it. What a great tool. Better than the Painter version I had. Great job developers!

This is the first artwork I made with Krita to check out the program's features. I wanted the image to have an aged look. The background is a free 'aged paper texture', taken from the internet.

good contrast, good volume and good light, I like it.
