"Reminiscence" v2018
"Dusted" and retouched, if you got the awesome Made with Krita art book, you are familiar with it. This is one of the biggest files I had made so far (2GB memory), and yet Krita 4.x is handling even better now, at it feels quick on the brush. Share-able - cc-nc-nd

"Plum Tea"
Another portrait, cartoonized at some degree trying to keep some smooth gradients with a slight depth feel. Done also with reference photo. similar method and brushes than the previous too, and also on Krita 4.x (pre-alpha). Share-able - cc-nc-nd

"Persimmon Tea"
Pretty much same techniques than the ones above, lots of airbrushing and some texturing (with brushes too), To paint the different levels in the picture, I rather use layers than selections, this approach takes a bit more memory but I feel it easier to manage and also found it "cleaner" when I go back and re-edit. Krita 4.x (pre-alpha). Share-able - cc-nc-nd

All your work is impressive in terms of technical and artistic quality. I particularly like "Tokimonsta", especially her hair. Did you paint in monochrome or did you desaturate after painting in colour?
P.S. Your "Plum Tea" post doesn't show an image in my browser and your internal link to Instagram gives 'URL signature expired' if I try to use it. |

Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it, I'm always hope people enjoy them as much as I do doing them
I did paint it in gray shades, since the reference picture was also in gray scale it was a bit easier to follow the tones (http://www.laweekly.com/news/tokimonsta ... at-2170614) and hope to do a second instance of it that I had in mind from the beginning as a two piece set, time forgiving. Also thank you for letting me know about the gone pic, didn't realize it changed its url, silly social medias
