Cartooning with Krita

Sat Jun 23, 2018 6:15 pm
Slowly transitioning from GIMP to Krita. The Krita tools are improving, and I believe I'm about ready to do 100% Krita work from this point on.
Here is a sample from my collection.

I found Krita to be faster for rendering followed by GIMP for text.

Here is a recent cartoon from my website:

Impressive work! Did I miss it, or isn't there a link to your website? I'd like to browse it :-)

My site, which is under reconstruction and growing, is here:
http://harrymartincartoons.com/

I'm currently working on a cartoon book for Road Rash Cartoons. The cartoon strip has been in production for the past 17 years and will soon be on Amazon. I have a few edits to make on the cover before i release the final version.

Moving to Krita from GIMP has reduced my production time.
The Krita tools are getting better with each release. Many thanks.

Krita just keeps getting better and better. :)

I just use the Appimage in Linux Mint and it gets the job done.
Having more luck now with the text tools.
