Illustrations for children's poems

Tue Oct 23, 2018 4:21 pm
Hi guys!
I've made a set of illustrations for some of the polish poems for children (some of them make sense only if you know the poem ;) ).
Here is the link to the project:

You've made a wonderful set of illustrations there, full of character and humour and a very high quality. Thank you for sharing them :)

I found the poems here: http://wierszykidladzieci.pl/

I used Google Translate for Urszula Kozłowska "Bąk i strąk" and for Jan Brzechwa "Pomidor" but I think that it's not very good for Polish -> English and not good for poetry. It was fun and interesting though and I'll try the other poems later.

Well, Google translator is not perfect for poetry, unfortunately. What you can do is to look for ready-made translations, like this:

:D
Have fun!

Well, unfortunately, I don't think that google translate will work here, especially for "Bąk i strąk", which is kind of a word play :(
But I'm happy, that you've liked it :)
