I've been playing with the Vanishing Point assistant tool and used a photo of a building as the reference for positioning them. It's quite easy but you have to be very careful and precise with initial placement or you get obvious problems with the constructed copies. The working file is 6700 x 2600 px.
I used clone layers with transform masks for the copy textures but that gives a big computation load and slow down so I ought to convert them to simple transformed copies since I don't really need live clones. (The original photo was taken from http://www.finchbuildings.com and is the copyright property of Finch buildings BV, located at Javakade 440, 1019 SC in Amsterdam. It is used here for the purpose of technical experimentation and illustration only.) I intend to add trees and bushes and I'll post it if I ever get around to doing that. |
