This is a test to make rain ...with the sumi-e paintOp (yes!)
There is a "bug" that cause lines to not be connected, but that's actually good if you want to make funny effects ! Just use the 1d brush + a very big scale factor.

What great case of "That's not a bug... it's a *feature*!"

I love the speckled light / rain. From an art / light perspective , you only see rain at night where the light is shining. For example, in this picture the rain would fade towards the top of the image. Some puddles / reflection on the ground would look great, too.

Overall though, a really nice, impressionist style piece of art. Thanks for sharing!

Actually I kept the rain visible because it hides all the ugly details
Good point for perspective/reflection.
