Character design test

Tue Jul 20, 2010 1:21 pm
Hi,
here is a character design work I made to test the development version:

Note it's really hard to trace nice ink shapes without being able to rotate the workspace.. I'm waiting for this feature.

Also I've seen great improvements day after day on the svn trunk, again I want to thank the developers for their hard work!

Very nice!

Few questions:
1. What was the original resolution you used for the work? Is it 1620×1080? (found on deviant art)
2. Brush engine used? Default pixel brush?

I also appreciate your bug reports!

Thanks for the comments.

The original .kra file is 3000x2000.

I've traced it with some pixel brush a little customized on size and rotation parameters (here they are : http://www.mediafire.com/?033cfpwzvq7v6oi )

As for the bug reports, the first step to solve bugs is to find them, and as this is the only thing I'm able to do I try to be efficient at it ^^

Good job ! I like how you managed the various thickness in your line-art on this model-sheet.

Merci du compliment :D !
I must say I learned good things watching "Chaos & Evolution" that I used here (Congrats for this great training DVD).
