Testing gradients. Unfortunately Blur and Gaussian Blur seem to have problems (at least in 2.2.2) so I had to smooth something out in Gimp.

This is very pretty. How on earth did you get the program to "draw" or paint with the gradients? I am still searching for an way to do that which doesn't involve using the selection tool over and over again.
