This is my first video recorded with Krita, as Ramon motivated me with his impressive wing sketch video

Yes! This is what I've been waiting to see. Thanks Tim! I find it interesting that you seem to work in almost the exact reverse to how I do, ie starting with shading and then going to linework. I tend to do rough lines for shape, then the main linework and then shading and then (occasionally) color.
Always fun to see how someone talented works Thanks again! |

Hi Animtim,
Interesting video indeed! I wish I could draw like that Just a suggestion, in case you decide to record a video tutorials (for beginners). Why don't you give a try to: key-mon [1]? Key-mon works super-well on Linux (I have tried it oftentimes with Ubuntu Maverick). I have discovered this nice tool by watching Inkscape [2] and Gimp [3] video tutorials . Maybe this software is not that useful with Krita where you generally use a tablet to draw. On top of this, once in a while, key-mon might be a bit obtrusive BTW, *THANKS* a lot indeed for your relentless bug-reporting! It looks like you are hunting down all of them Best regards, [1] http://code.google.com/p/key-mon/ [2] http://screencasters.heathenx.org/ [3] http://meetthegimp.org/ |

Thank you all for your comments
Silvio Grosso: cool I didn't know key-mon, I'll probably use it for some recording. |
