On the sunday of the Krita Sprint at the Blender Institute, I did this speedpainting test to do more bug reports ; the theme is a character design for a future probable comic project, but I'm still at the very beginning of all the work needed for such a project. the *.kra source file here with all layers if some of you wants to study my layer choices and blending modes. Good to can find again a wokflow with real source files containing the layers big steps. Sorry for the lack of description in the layer names ; I didn't took the time to rename over the default. http://david.revoy.free.fr/forums/krita/speedpainting_test-kritasprint_davidrevoy.kra |

You don´t stop to paint uh? the character is like the bad guys in manga, crispy hair, stretched eyes, and dramatic lighting... But i have to be honest this is not one of your best pictures. You can do better when you rest from the Sprint.
I like the color choice, it is interesting to create a dark atmosphere like hospitals. And go for the comic. it will be nice to see how you do it. tools choice, time, sizes.. this kind of things . |

ANyway... this paint looks really great, I agree with Ramon, looks like the badass of manga jejeje. Love the traditional paint feel, makes me want to take a brush and paint with my acrylics XD. Hey Deevad,
Thanks for sharing the .kra! Any chance of a CC license so we can feature it in the Krita.org showcase? |
