Sketch brush wins the price for the most popular brush in Krita :)
Any feature requests for sketch brush?

FYI connections to the previous stroke is long-time TODO.

Brush size->Density & Offset scale set to 0
Optionally Brush size->Line width set to 5-10 px or whatever you want
Optionally Brush mode -> set to Wash

Currently when you draw a stroke, the result is rendered as line connections between parts of that stroke. When you finish the stroke, the new stroke does not make line connections to the finished, old stroke. I would like to make this possible in the future as optional behaviour.

In Gimp, if you hold down shift, that when you click somewhere on the canvas, it paints a straight line from the last point you painted to where the cursor is currently. While we're using the shift key already to change the brush size (which I *love*), the functionality itself would be useful.

André, is this the kind of feature you mean?

For this feature we have separate tool, line tool.

For consideration we could have shortcut to switch quickly to line tool.
Currently we simulate behaviour of pan tool and color picker in the freehand tool. In the future we need good system for temporary switching to the tool, so that color picker uses the settings and pan tool can rotate the canvas.

I hope dmitry resolves this in his GSoC as he plans to refactor (Tm) the tools.

Sure, as long as it's as quick to switch to and back again as Ctrl is for the colour dropper.

it does not work for the line tool. it works for every object (circle, square, etc...) except the first pixel or the first line... please see below for better understanding...

but it does not look like the sketch brush tool anymore.... :(

How about a feature to define a texture for stroke and connection lines? That would allow many different styles with just this one paintop.

Now I see, thanks. I will think about it. It would be interesting to use multihand tool for this and set two sketch brushes there and the connections
would be made between those two strokes done by multihand..

@Spell: can you go into more details?
