Princess Krahe

The character is from the anime Princess Tutu (silly name yet an amazing anime). The painting style was a lot more free and flowy this time around. However this lead to a lot of redoing and repainting as I was experimenting. You can see it in the video recording...I wasted my time redoing the face especially. Recorded most of the process for Kubuntiac. Really like how the arms turned out, but the hands are almost atrocious -_-. Need to work on hand anatomy more.

The whole thing was a bit big so I had to slipt the videos into three folders.

I like your color palette in this piece and the ambiant ( and also the composition , but I took a little time to figure the elements )
A little critic against the not enough built arms and hands ; but I know they are difficult to manage without a solid drawing under.
You looks to have a greater skill and attach more importance for faces.
Thanks for sharing the video.
You don't use Krita > Settings > Configure Krita > Generale > cursor shape > "Brush outline" ?

Thanks for the critic! Yes I do like painting faces a lot more. It's my specialty. Painting the whole body is a bit of a challenge though but I was trying to break out of my comfort zone with this. I should try drawing a solid line art before I start painting is a very good suggestion.
