Hello and welcome to the Monthly Drawing Challenge Kickstarter Special!

The challenge for May is over, the results can be found here:
viewtopic.php?f=277&t=132829
Last month's winner was anosina.

This month's topic is

flow

The winner image will be printed on the Kickstarter reward t-shirts and the winner will receive one of the shirts.

The image must be safe for work since it will be printed on Kickstarter reward t-shirts.
To make printing easy, good proportions for the image are 3:4, 4:3, A3 and A4 (landscape and portrait).

I wish you a lot of fun with drawing!

--==How the challenge works==--

You can submit your image until the 24th of June, 12:00 UTC, by posting an image as answer in this thread.
For posting images, the same rules as in the Gallery section apply.

After that, a poll will be created and forum users can vote for the winner.
The poll will run for 7 days, the winner will be the one with the most votes until the end of the poll.

By posting your image here, you give us permission to print it on Kickstarter reward t-shirts.

At last, I finally managed to catch a challenge and it was a very enjoyable one, thanks! :D

I've been banging on about Krita to everyone. I got Newgrounds.com to include it on their list of recommended tools and there's been some interest there.

If this doesn't win, I'll probably get some T-Shirts done anyway. It will give me another way to highlight how good Krita is ;-)

Two questions:

1) Just to be sure: Does the Krita Name/Logo have to be part of the design?
2) What colours are the T-Shirts going to be?

Hi Rivvil,

I've been holding off on a reply because I'm not really sure it's my place to state the rules :-), but the topic looks like it's deliberately left open.

So I think it's reasonable to assume that you don't have to have the URL in the image (that just fitted for my idea).

I was working on the assumption that the T-Shirts would be white by default (possibly black too), but I think that if a design wins that would work better on black, then that's what they'll use.

I can't wait to see what you come up with. It's lonely here at the moment :-D

I was getting nowhere with my GSoC code today, so decided to give the challenge a try:

Here it is the image that pop out of my gray-matter when I read this month topic ;D and I called "Flow" just to stay on the same line :D
This shows two backgrounds of the same image, as a color exercise.

Here it is a "speedy" video of the (most of it) painting process.

@rivvilrothe Sorry for the late answer, I was quite busy over the last weeks.
The t-shirt will be printed in the color that fits the image best.
So you can choose any background color and the t-shirt will fit the color.

First time trying Krita. I use Inkscape at work, and used Fireworks and Photoshop in the past. Hopefully in a few years my submissions here will be as good as others. Well done guys ;D looking forward to the new T-shirt.

Made this Kiki to raise some awareness to the kickstarter campaign on the decentralized social media Diaspora which I use instead of Facebook et all. Thought I might as well submit it here...

Well, it was made on a whim during the last week of the campaign, as I was gripped by the excitement. ;D
