Hello and welcome to the Monthly Drawing Challenge Special of August 2017!

The LibreOffice team is looking for a mascot for their open-source office suite ( https://www.libreoffice.org/ ).
For this, they have set up a competition, which you can join directly. or by posting your entry here.
There are quite some guidelines, which I'll try to summarize quickly here:

* Design a mascot for LibreOffice. Ideas for what it could be can be found in the Metaphors section on the competition site.
* Ideally provide a name and description.
* It should follow the LibreOffice style guidelines (e.g. color schemes).
* The artwork must be supplied in two versions: full-color and two-color (as that is required for printing)
* The artwork must be licensed under the terms of the CC0 license.
* Enter the challenge until the 31th of August 2017 to participate!
* You can enter several artworks into the competition.

The LibreOffice Board of Directors (BoD) will pre-filter the entries that go in from this forum or directly.
Then the community can vote. The BoD makes the final decision about mascot and name.
If you are in the top three entries of all entries (from this forum and the direct entries), you will win:

* 1st prize: Slimbook KATANA Intel i5 (https://slimbook.es/en/ultrabook-katana-en)
* 2nd prize: Nextcloud box with Raspberry Pi 3 (https://nextcloud.com/box)
* 3rd prize: Nitrokey Pro 3 (https://www.nitrokey.com)

Thanks jmf for start the drawing Challenge for a LibreOffice Mascot. As the challenge will be over soon I will inform you in a view days about the submitted drawings. As fare as I know there are some really nice and fancy mascot proposals available.

Loli the Swift
Swift is the bird that can float in air. So I choose it as metaphor of FREEDOM.
As LibreOffice is for Office use. I gave him Necktie with Color of LO.
With Black and White serving as Suit
The Goggle is to Include main Color ( Actually it is meant to be Bug Hunting Goggle to Show Stability but it is not showing clearly )
