Dear friends,

As camcorders formats become more and more exotic, it is important for users to look for information about GNU/Linux camcorder support. Therefore I plan to add a small database that anyone will be able to fill, describing the camcorder and the level of support that Kdenlive/MLT/FFmpeg offer.

Also this will expose Kdenlive to a larger public, as people will be able to find us using keywords like "video editor hv20" or even "video editor sony", etc ...

So I hope that you can help us entering your hardware and keeping this database up-to-date. This is quite important to expose Kdenlive to a larger public on Internet. Windows users will be able to download and try our new live DVDs.
