Hey, so I can see funding has been discussed, which is good. I am actually doing paid work right now to facilitate funding with Open Funding http://funding.openinitiative.com/ - the idea is that individual features are funded, and the results are tested as part of the process.

I have been using kdenlive for about 3 years (here are some of my vids http://vimeo.com/ethicalpets) and am making kdenlive a priority in my work for Open Funding. I have a thread for suggested features going on the General discussion - but what I need next are Kdenlive developers who would like to be paid for some work. You can suggest your own features, they can even be features you were planning anyway (GIMP are trying this) and there will be lots of help getting them set up on the funding site so it won't be too much work initially.
