1080i m2ts files from a Sony HDR SR10 Handycam when imported into KDEnlive 0.9.6 generate a message saying it is a "1080p" file and "do I want to alter the project settings". If I cancel the message, I can still edit and render without problem.
If you need a sample file, let me know. Ubuntu Studio 14.04.1 LTS. |

FFProbe is part of the FFMpeg package. Kdenlive uses FFMpeg for all sorts of things. So, it's best to see what FFProbe has to say. Type: ffprobe filename.mts |

You could also try avprobe (this is the alternative to ffprobe) because you might a avconv rather than a ffmpeg system.
This blog explains the whole ffmepg / avconv schism that happened a few years back and that we still pay the price for. !!!! |
