I've tried to play around with some new features in the Track menu, but I could not get them working. First, I selected some clips in the timeline with transitions and saved them as a MLT script. Easy. Then I added that to the project bin and throwed it onto the timeline. Also good. Then I tried to expand this clip. Nada. I'm probably misunderstanding these new features, so can someone here please give me a hint how to use the new features correctly?

How do you do that ?

1. Select a single(!) clip in the timeline.
2. Main menu "Timeline" > "Current Clip" > "Save Clip".
3. A save clip dialog comes up with a filter for MLT playlists and a default filename selection of ".mlt". Punch in a filename and hit the "Save" button. If you had multiple clips selected, sometimes the dialog appears but no .mlt file will be saved.

You should now have a .mlt file that you can add as a clip in another project. At the moment this seems to be somehow incomplete?

There's also "Timeline" > "Current Clip" > "Expand Clip" which I don't understand.
