Before writing a bug/feature report, I would like to first ask/discuss the following idea here.

My work flow currently is this: I'm importing screencast clips recorded using an HDMI recorder. Next, I speed up these clips (for this I set up my own speedup ffmpeg transcoding jobs). Then I need to cut the clips down into animated parts, with stills in between. The stills are needed because I later add separate voice over and the voice part may take longer than the animated parts. Thus, I need to insert stills.

Currently this means to set the in and out points of an animated part, then drawing this into the timeline. Next, I save the frame at the out point and add the resulting png into the project bin. Then I draw the png clip into the timeline.

Now, for transcoding jobs we have the option to add the transcoded file to the project. So ... what about adding an option to the save frame dialog to add the saved frame png immediately to th project bin, and into the current folder?
