Hi,

I recently got a file project corrupted, so I tried my luck fixing it manually and had a look kdenlive's file format.
I encountered a few oddities that were actually not specific to my files but also present in the default files.
I'm referring to things like :

 <playlist id="main bin" kdenlive:customeffects="&lt;customeffects/>&#xa;">


and

Code: Select all

<property name="kdenlive:clipgroups">&lt;groups/>
</property>

While it's still well-formed xml, it seems weird (I'm no XML expert though).
Also, the dtd seems quite a bit behind the actual file format (no "title" attribute for the "producer" element, etc.)

Is this worth investigating ?
