It would be fantastic if kdenlive could insert chapter markers into any media file container that supports it (MP4, MKV, etc.).

The mechanism to create the markers could be the same as it is today when creating DVDs (using Guides to set the chapter point and name).

The Render dialog would just need to be modified so that the "Create chapter file based on guides" option would always be available, not just when the "Open Dvd wizard after rendering" box was checked.

It is not possible to add chapter markers?
