We need Adobe after effects like features in Kdenlive.Tell me if your planning to make a kickstarter.

Kdenlive is a video editor. After effects is not a video editor. If you want similar tools have a look at Natron or Blender.

i think that a kickstarter campaign can be a very nice idea ! i see some very horrible (and cloned) projects taking a lot of $...
KDEnlive is a great project and a lot of people are waiting for a "stable" bugless version.

i think that the linux/windows users can give money for that. (osx i don't think so... they love to give money to Apple.)

BTW i think that is not necessary to have some "hard" effects like

just a good and functionally opensourced video editor. (maybe some VLC video editor developer can be hired?)
