Well, to put it simply, some editing programs have the option of a shortcut that will split every single clip in the timeline to where the play head is at. Currently, the only way of doing that is manually splitting every single file in the timeline at that particular point, which works, but it's time consuming.

I'm not sure but maybe it works if you group the clips (can't test at the moment). You may also look for the "ripple delete" shortcut which maybe can suit some of your needs. And the rewritten code, currently under alpha test (beta to come soon, release in December) will offer many more actions (ripple/roll/slide/etc, insert/shift/etc). And it should be easier to add new ones. Thanks for giving Kdenlive a try and helping to make it better Vincent |
