usually developers refers to "Windows" libraries for "Windowed apps" to: MS Windows API (MinGW has a command line parameter called: mingw32-w32api"

maybe better to replace: "The windows windowing system" (Help --> About Kdenlive --> Libraries) with "Windows Shell Experience Host interface" or "MS Windows API"

and change all translations? ..

P.S. "windows" are "wood/aluminum + glass things" ... "Windows" is a product name.
