Usually VisualC++ builds are faster than MinGW builds and maybe can be nice to benchmark the 2 versions.
Eugen is making every day/week a VisualC++ build (if i remember well)

No sorry, MSVC still can't build MLT.
I have been working on this few months back (1st step was to port to CMake build system), but I had no time anymore to continue to now make the code portable.
I have it in mind and will probably some day go back to this task, but can't say when
One suggestion was to build MLT with MinGW and use these libs with an MSVC build of Kdenlive, but not sure it is worth the effort.

ok i understand, BTW thank you for everything you do with the Windows "porting" of Kdenlive
