Hello, I think that it may be possible to make kdenlive automatically detecting car license plates and people's faces,- and pixelateting/blurring those?

In my country the car license plates mostly all have white background with black letters. I hope that it's possible to some way leverage computer vision of these objects as they follow a set standard described here: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle ... _of_Norway
It's maybe possible to draw a square around the first licence plate ( or more) to "train" the software to pixelate/blur objects that it recognises. Same should also be possible to use for peoples faces.
It should not detect street signs as these will result in false positives, they also are higher up than license plates. These have a black frame, white background and black letters.
Example: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/ ... norway.jpg

That would be a neat function,- so people don't have to manually edit 6+ hours of video to blur out car license plates and people's faces to avoid privacy issues.

i think you need to ask Google or Microsoft for this kind of high-level IA jobs... or if you know some software able to do it.. just pre-process any videoclip with this one, and edit the result using Kdenlive.
