you can check the "use project folder" control in the kdenlive preferences, but voiceovers are always recorded in the "greyed out" path you can see in the "enviroment->default folders" section of the preferences.

seems the checkbox for "use project folder" was considered always "false" (but is checked).

using 22.08.01 64 bit appimage on an ubuntu 20.04
