problem in installing qt4.4.3 source
hi friends,
I am a Qt programmer .. i use Linux - fedora core 7 in GNOME environment and worked in the source Qt4.4.3 from troll tech open source .. yesterday i install the KDE libraries and its updates by yum ... now kde creates its own designer version 4.3.x but i worked in qt4.4.3 for long time so i again reinstall qt4.4.3 source .. the libraries are working fine but when i run designer it gives

i dont know how to resolve this problem please help me to find the solution .... :'(

I see stacks of errors similar to these when running Designer under Qt4.5. The only message in there of any signficance is "org.kde.kded was not...." which means that the KDE Daemon is not running. Try running "kded &" before starting Designer. ( Unless another KDE application is running )

i run kded& and try to run designer but the same error is coming and kded& gets aborted
what shall i do now ....

Try starting a normal KDE application such as KWrite. Leave that running as you use Designer. KWrite should start KDE Daemon automatically.

i try but still giving the same error ... some told me that fc7 wont support qt4 try to update to fc10 but before installing kde library it works fine ... after installing kde library i cant use the source Qt4.4.3 designer ...

Those are for KDE 3 ( apart from kdelibs4-devel and kdelibs4 ) Please try installing kdebase4.

it is just a patch ... i cant catch the whole .... but kded4 is running .. ps command shows kded..
