New Subforum

Because the Krita on Windows thread grew a bit out of bounds, here's a new forum dedicated to questions about Krita on Windows (any version). I'll also announce new builds here :-)

Good idea. Just yesterday Krita on Windows saved my day. Photoshop that I used and loved for years is becoming a mess recently :( First I had to wait for months for Adobe to fix text tool (setting spaces between letters wasnt working), and when they finally did - immediately something else got broken. Liquify filter just disappeared o_O I really needed it and had no time for looking for reason and solution. In Krita this is just one of brushes - it worked flawlessly and I could finish my job without issues.

Krita is getting better and better - Thank you for the all hard work you are doing on Windows build. It is a great piece of software. As always I have just one question (two actually) - when we could possibly expect new build with weighted smoothing fixed? I know I should just wait patiently but it is hard with Krita, you know ;)? Really great software!

Well, we managed to break our text tool, too... At least, it's reported to be broken, I haven't tested yet. As for the brush smoothing -- Dmitry is going to visit me in Deventer from September 24th to October 3rd, to touch base and do some pair programming. Fixing the smoothing on Windows is one of the things that's on the agenda for that week, together with tablet events and visiting the Kroller-Muller museum.
