Hello!
I've been using Krita for a while now on Linux and it's amazing! I've also introduced a friend to it, but she's on Windows and is experiencing a nasty bug where Krita crashes after being in use for about ten minutes. It isn't an out of memory crash as said earlier on this forum, since memory usage isn't maxed out at the time of crashing. Using the --nocrashhandler flag I've obtained the following crash report: Name : krita.exe version: 0.0.0.0 timestamp: 522873ac Name errormodule: MSVCR110.dll Version errormodule: 11.0.51106.1 Timestamp errormodule: 5098826e exceptioncode: c0000005 Exceptoonmargin: 000000000003c5fd Version operating system: 6.1.7601.2.1.0.768.3 locale settings ID: 1043 Using Google I've figured out that vc++ redistributable is the culprit, but a reinstall of it didn't solve the problem. She's using the latest stable version found on the site and frankly I'm quite stumped. What could cause this? Regards, Niels |

Hi Niels,
No idea, I'm afraid -- this really doesn't tell me a whole lot. But please check whether you have autosave enabled. In earlier builds, autosave could cause problems for some people. |
