Loving Krita - I'm using the 64bit version on Windows 8. The last couple versions I've had no troubles at all where it used to crash all the time and was unusable.
But now I'm wanting to use it for some real work and so I want to have my color palette shared across numerous programs. The color palette shows that it should import .act files but when I select the file, nothing happens. (I don't have a way to import .gpl or .pal files as nothing else I have creates them). I tried the color picker on an imported image to add the colors which was fine - but then no apparent way to save the newly created color palette. Adding colors to the color palette works great but deleting a mistakenly added color is impossible without erasing everything before it. The delete color button always deletes the first color in the list, not the selected color. Not sure if the color palette has just been overlooked during work on Krita, the Windows version is broken, or I simply don't know what the hell I'm doing. Any help with color palettes would be great (can't seem to find the info I need elsewhere). Thanks |

I think nobody used act palettes for a long time. Feel free to add a bug report and attach your palette file.
The palette should automatically save when you add a new color. The delete color button works on LInux, likely a problem on Windows. |

As a work-around, you can use gpick to create your .gpl files. It unfortunatly doesn't open *.act, but everything else should work okay.

I fixed the .act file loading. Once the next Windows build is made it should work.

Thanks everyone,
I was able to use GIMP to create a .gpl palette which I then placed in the palettes folder and it seems to be working fine. |
