I have made a painting in Krita and save it out as a psd. I can not open it in Corel Painter X3 for a little editing. The message from Painter is: "There is not enough memory to complete this operation". The psd file is 3,5 Mb only. So, I opened the Krita psd in Photoshop CC (no problems) and saved it back, the file size was a little smaller (3,1 Mb) from Photoshop. This time I could open it in Painter without any problems. This indicates there is a problem with the psd file saved from Krita.

The file is supposed to be animated, so there are some layers. I can open it from the Krita psd directly in Anime Studio Pro 9.5 with all the layers intact. No problems. But not in Painter, as I said...

It's a bit hard to do anything about... It can also be a bug in Corel Painter. If Photoshop and other apps can read it, I suspect it conforms to the spec...
