was doing some drawings for some studys and now suddenlley on the forth image it does not want to :
-save as > *.png -export > *.png error message: http://www.pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=67250 I was on the beta so I changed into the last stable build and still it does not work. exporting as *.PDF or *.PSD seems to work still though but comes out as a massive file size compared to my other images of the same scale. I will continue my work doing a work around but just to warn about this bug. strangelly I cannot make it happen again without this file for some reason. |

Could you try saving it into a path which doesn't contain special characters such as "#"? It is possible that the code responsible for handling *.png files isn't handling this properly.

I tryed a path without special character and it does not seem to be making an effect.
http://www.pasteall.org/pic/show.php?id=67308 I have tryed out saving in all file formats and only the PNG is giving trouble, I have been using TIF files now. and I think perhaps another format but I can't say for sure which. if there is interest/need I can send one or two files that give me troubles saving. at the moment I have 3(troubled) out of 8 files on this bat study that i am doing. |

Yes, I would like to see one or two problematical files. Could you create a bug report on bugs.kde.org for us? And either attach or link to the files? If the content is private, you can also mail me directly: boud@valdyas.org,

Ah, I think I found it. If one enables "save as indexed if possible", the current libpng does a bogus check for the length of the indexed color palette. Following the lead of ImageMagick, I've disabled that check.

Thank you boudewijn. I unchecked the box ("save as indexed if possible") and it started exporting well on all files I have made. so so thank you ^_^
I really can't say I much I am loving krita nowadays, it acctually makes me feel like I can draw on a tablet like I do on paper.just a minor note of how I feel now a days. |
