Hi to all, I haven't used Krita for quite a while and after seeing the new official build for winXP thought I'd try it out again, really impressed with this build and the brush response is epic.
Onto the problem: while openGL is active any movement with the mouse/pen causes the canvas to flicker with gaps showing the grey&white background. I use the rotate canvas option a lot and would like a smooth and accurate rotation with this feature - something I can't seem to get with openGL turned off (it works like a dream when GL is active but the flickering is so annoying). I have an Nvidia Quadro 600 GC and have previously used canvas rotation with other software with no issues. Any help on this would be great. |

What version of OpenGL deoes your system have? We need at least 3.0, or even 3.2 depending on the driver.

Hi, I have managed to resolve this now and can Enable openGL with no flickering issues, took a while to sort out but it seems after moving up to openGL 4.3 the problem no longer exists. Not sure why it worked after that change if it only requires 3.2 to function and I already had 4.2 but I'm not going to worry myself on that, it works and that's all that matters.

I guess the driver for 4.2 has more fixes...
