So yeah, the installer doesn't ask whether or not I want it to put an icon onto my desktop, it just kind of dumps it there. I'm the kind of person that keeps their desktop clean of icons, and I'd far prefer a checkbox I can deselect giving me the option of whether or not to do that.

Yes, that would be really nice. There are a number of other refinements I would love to make to the installer, but Wix is one of the most horrible things to work with... So I keep putting it off in favour of working on Krita itself
