Anyone have an idea why move layer tool is so slow compared to layer transformation? I tends to lag quite a lot, while dragging, compared to very smooth layer transformation. I have around 10 layers with 3000x1800 canvas

The layer move tool moves the actual layer data and recomputes the entire canvas every move, the transform tool shows you a preview. That's the main reason why the move tool is slower. However, we also had a slow-down when trying to move a layer with a stylus instead of a mouse: if you experience a difference in performance between those two, try the latest dev build that I uploaded yesterday.

Thanks. New release it is indeed working bit faster. And all hotkeys seems to be saved correctly now. Are there any plans to make 'layer move' tool work in preview mode to gain speed boost? Maybe I should report wish on bugtracker...

No -- no plans to do that, because it wouldn't work. The preview method breaks the layer recomposition because we can only show a preview on top of the image.
