Hello,
I have a wacom cintiq 13HD and a windows 8.1 laptop, and I've just installed Krita. I'm getting a huge cursor offset when using the tablet pen over the Krita canvas only -- over the UI is fine, using a mouse is fine. I've tried the latest development build as well, but no luck. Anyone solved this problem? I like the feel of the software otherwise, so it'd be nice to be able to use it. |

It might be that you have a peculiar multi-monitor setup -- but then the latest Windows build should popup a dialog asking you which of the possibilities Krita has detected is correct. Or your tablet isn't correctly calibrated. I use krita on Windows 7 with a 13" cintiq hybrid companion and don't see an offset myself.

Boud, if he has a cintiq with a laptop, then indeed he has a multi-monitor setup
rukaren, you might want to take a poke at the latest development build. It's still a little buggy, but ot so buggy as for your not to enjoy your cintiq with it. We even have portable packages. |

Well, sure! So do I -- but there might be something configured in a different way. I know my cintiq is to the right of the main screen, maybe if it's to the left stuff happens...

Thanks for your replies. My tablet is to the right of the screen, nothing fancy.
I've tried the latest development build. At the start of the program, I get the message box telling me krita cannot recognize the resolution of the tablet. If I tell it (1920x1080) the offset goes away... but there are other problems that make it unusable. 1. The cursor freezes if I take the pen away from the tablet, and will not pick the pen up again until I hover over the UI, and then move to the canvas. 2. Sometimes the cursor jumps half a screen away, and to get it back I have to hover over the UI and move back to the canvas. (Note: I originally said "stop asking" because notifications [eta: about the tablet resolution] kept popping up while I was still reading the first one, and after that even uninstalling and reinstalling wouldn't bring it back. Finally google explained the "shift on first open" procedure.) If it's an issue with the calibration - which wouldn't surprise me, tbh - none of my other programs (including drawing programs) seem to share it. I'm not sure how common this bug is, but let me know if you want any more data. |

hello,
i have the same problem aswell. Just bought this cintiq 13hd and it was working perfect on my laptop. But the laptop was to old for krita. So i installed it on my main desktop pc. There the problems started. I can use everything in krita, but the moment i go over the canvas, it shoots 2 inch to the right. So it only occurs on the canvas. any solution to this problem??? Mny tnx in advance edit : i'm very new to all this stuff. So i need to explain a bit more. I have a geforce gtx 760 on my pc, where i use 2 monitors. So i decided to connect the cintiq to the videocard on the 3rd dvi connection. If i then go into krita and try to draw, my pen and result will be 2 inch apart on the canvas. If i switch positions of my screens in config. Let's say i put the cintiq on top of my main screen. I can draw perfectly, but without the pressure sensitivity. If i then remove all other screens and just setup my cintiq as primary and solo monitor, It works perfectly. Does the problem come from my geforce videocard, my wacom or krita. Since its strange that everything works except the canvas. Did i setup something wrong? I'm clueless.... |

Okay, i found the solution to my problems and after 4 hours surfing the web i found the solution.
1. open control panel, 2. go to hardware and sound, 3. then dislay, 4. choose the option to use 1 scalinglevel for all screens. 5. choose the recommended 100% 6. apply 7. just relog and bam it worked. So nothing related to krita. my apologies and hope this helps others |

Thanks vanhoutte, that seems to have solved it for me too.

Thank you so much! This seems to have worked for me now that I just tried it. Let's hope it does not come back.
Very easy to follow and very easy to do, I recommend this solution.

Bumping this thread because I'm having the same issue:
- Cintiq 13HD (Driver 6.3.6-3) - Dual monitor setup - Windows 10 - Krita 3.0 - The on-canvas cursor has a relatively small offset to it, while the cursor outside of the canvas works just fine: I've tried adjusting the scale in the Windows settings and made sure that they are set to 100%, but the offset remains. Because the offset varied slightly with the postition of the cursor, it's safe to say it's a problem with scale/resolution. It's simply too big for some reason. Turning off OpenGL didn't help either. I tried coming up with how much I needed to adjust the resolution values for the offset to disappear, and decided to scribble it down. Depending on how the monitors were aligned in Windows display settings (side to side, corner to corner, top to bottom), the width needed to be adjusted somwhere between 10 to 21 pixels, while the height needed to be adjusted somewhere between 4 and 19 pixels. Note that these are approximations because the Cintiq's calibration also adds a bit to the offset. |

Hello, I allow myself to boost the subject because I met the same problem as well since I made an update for my Cintiq pro 16 lastly.
- CPU: Intel core i7 - GeForce 980ti - 16 Go Ram - SSD 250 Go - Hard disk 1 To RAID - Main monitor: Asus 27' (1080p) - Tablet: Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 (1440p, used at 1080p) - OS: Windows 8.1 - 64 bits - Programm: Krita 3.1.4 - 64 bits Problem: When I try to draw in the workspace of Krita, I have a light offset (between 5 mm to 1 cm at left) at the right of the workspace (the offset is lighter when I come to the left of the workspace). Conditions to meet the problem: - Dual screen monitor (Cintiq at the right of the asus. If I put it below, the offset is 5mm to 1 cm above at the bottom of the workspace). Conditions needed to avoid the problem: - Go in mirrored screen / Single screen and restart Krita When it happened: After an update for the wacom cintiq pro 16 driver I made yesterday. Before that, I could draw without any problem in the same conditions. Overview of the problem: http://sta.sh/020u3r07bs7l Note: I tryed the technic of vanhoutte, to know: -------------------------------------------------- = 1. open control panel, = 2. go to hardware and sound, = 3. then dislay, = 4. choose the option to use 1 scalinglevel for all screens. = 5. choose the recommended 100% = 6. apply = 7. just relog and bam it worked. -------------------------------------------------- Though, it seems that doesn't work for me. For the moment, I can draw with just one screen, but I'd really need the dual monitor mode, so all help are VERY welcome. I really need to solve this problem. Thank's in advance. |

Maybe try to completely reset the cintiq settings. Or downgrade the wacom driver to the previous version?

Oh I feel so stupid now! XD
I was used to the old cintiq parameters of the 12wx and forgot we could reset the settings now. ^^' Well, happily for me, it worked perfectly. My problem is fixed. How didn't I think about trying that first? XD Thank's very much boudewijn! =D |
