Just wondering, what's the status on the toolbar width issue? Being such an obvious bug I'm sure it hasn't been forgotten about, but it's still listed as "Resolved Fixed" here https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=339852 so that makes me wonder.
In 2.8.93.0 it's possible to get the width down to one column if you yank it around for a bit (this can also result in tools overlapping, or the resizing bar actually ending up in-between the columns and leaving a trail of artifacts...), but it reverts to two columns on restart. (c: |

I'm this close to just removing the whole toolbox code and make the toolbox into a set of ordinary toolbars like we had in Krita 1.4... Either that, or make it fixed 2 columns wide! We're running into Qt problems all the time here

For some reason I'm not having too much trouble getting it down to a single column now. If it could just be made to retain its state then at least that would save having to wrestle it back into position every time. Or is that tied into the Qt problem as well?
Probably not much point fixing it to two columns, since at the moment it's at least possible to make it into one column. How did the toolbars in 1.4 work? |
