Hello. I couldn't find answers related to this after a brief search, so I hope I'm not repeating an old thing. Will there be a shortcut for the eyedropper tool? I have mine hotkeyed to my pen button (Alt) and it makes life whole lot easier than picking the tool manually for each color pick. If there is something like it already, can you point me in the right direction?
Another thing is I am using the V6 brushes, and eraser often times bugs out and acts like a normal paint brush instead of erase things. Thanks |

There is, it's in 'CTRL+click' by default, and you can configure it in settings->configure Krita->canvas input settings. This is where we hold the sticky-keys.
You're the second one who is reporting this with deevad's brushes... I wonder what is going on there... |

Hello sythgara,
There is a shortcut for eye dropper tool, you can change the brush to eyedropper by pressing ctrl. That means you can map the pen button to ctrl. If you are more accustomed to Alt eyedropper shortcut you can change that by going to Settings > configure Krita > Canvas Input > Alternate Invocation. Regarding the v6 brush pack eraser, I haven't tested that brush extensively yet, so i cant tell for sure, but my guess is that while painting you may be pressing ctrl accidentally, thereby automatically making the eraser a brush. pressing E again makes it a eraser. ( this is just a guess ) you can make any brush a eraser by just pressing 'e' ( if you notice the blend mode changes to erase) |

The e does work as a quick fix. Not sure what else could be there to it. And thanks for the shortcut tips. I'll go ahead and do that : )

im having the same problem with my erasers with them painting instead, and then i noticed that i would try and use a different eraser and it would work but then when i selected another eraser there would be a small pencil icon that pops up on the eraser. im new to krita so im not sure what those pencil icons mean but now every single one of my erasers is basically a paintbrush.
