paintoppresets, how to make them?

Sun May 24, 2015 4:05 pm
I'd like to look into making my own paintoppresets. Can they be made with Krita or is something else needed? I've become seriously addicted to Krita, it's almost perfect. The more I use it the deeper I want to get into it.

Hello,
of course you can make your own brushes. You pick a brush in the brush engine and change it to your liking. On the right side of the brush engine you can draw your icon. Then you give it a new name and save it. The brush gets saved in the roaming folder "painttoppresets" and is from now on listed in all the brushes. In the presets you can give it a tag so you get your own brushes selectable with the right mouse click.

I guess what I should have asked is how to bundle them. Sometimes I'm full of meds and don't ask the right things.
