When playing around with latest Krita build for Windows (2.9.5) I found a little irritating bug regarding workspaces (*.kws).
Every time I try to open onscreen button "select a workspace", it does show nothing (i.e. clear subwindow in spite I have many templates in proper place!). But it allows to choose any workspace, by browsing it on the disc, fortunately. So if I choose any template, it didn't work at all and all windows on the screen stay the same. ![]() Isn't it something to fix, anyway? Now I use Intel i5, on Win7 64-bit and Intel gfx-card. Thanks for your replies and attention... |

Hiya folx! This bug appears on another computer I use (Win7 64-bit and Krita version 2.9.5). There is empty workspace subwindow and no chance to alter workspace by loading anything related....
![]() Should I try to report it via bugtracker (a bit complicated matter) or just to leave message here??? ![]() |

You can make a bugtracker report and post it here. I'm pretty sure that the krita irc get notified when there is a new bug report and a new forum post so that's like 3 birds with one stone

Do you use translation UI? I have this empty workspace issue + pattern/gradient empty issue when I set Krita to run in Japanese. When I set Krita run in English, things go fine.
I've logged this issue already - still no dev response though. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=349026 Well if you are having empty workspace issue with English UI, it's probably a separate issue... |

Well, after checking out I can confirm it is the same issue!!!
![]() Switching to "default" (English) will bring back proper work for Workspaces' docker. So it looks like the bug is not new - why it hasn't been resolved so far??? ![]()

"So it looks like the bug is not new - why it hasn't been resolved so far???
![]() Well, because a) I had to go on a ten day business trip right after the kickstarter ended, b) because it's one bug among the currently 315 open bugs c) I haven't had time because I also need to work on the Qt5 port (which I'm doing today) d) I only read the first bug report day before yesterday because that's when I returned from the trip. |
