I just downloaded Krita and I'm super excited to utilize the program. However when I open it, it will appear on my start bar and if you hover over it it will show the program but when I click on it, it refuses to open any sort of window on my screen.

My system is a brand new Alienware computer with Windows 10 and I'm just not sure how to proceed. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Hi! you may have downloaded 2.9.7.0 on accident. Try downloading 2.9.6.3. If you're already on that one try reinstalling it. If it's still not working, try the zip build if your using the msi version and vice versa.

other thoughts: you may have it open, just outside of your desktop space (happens to my mom all the time), hover over the Krita icon, rightclick and select maximize.
2.9.7.1 should come out by the second.
