Hi,
I own a rather old wacom bamboo tablet (the old white one from 2009). But I can't get pressure sensitivity to work with krita. Pressure is recognized by Sketchbook Pro and Photoshop, but not krita. I tried a Wacom Cintiq some weeks ago, which worked great, too. What I did: - I read in some threads about installing missing wintab drivers. I found some on a microsoft website, but they didn't work for me (they were bundled in a driver package for the SP3). - And of course I installed the wacom driver for the bamboo (and deinstalled the cintiq driver). -I tried different brushes in krita, which should be pressure sensitive. I use a own built PC: 2 monitors, 8gb ram CPU: Phenom II X6 GPU: AMD HD5850 running 64bit Win10 Are there any settings I could have missed? Thank you very much for your help! |

Well, the Microsoft SP3 wintab drivers are a sure way to mess up your system: they are meant for ntrig pens. Windows is a bit limited in that you can only have drivers installed for one particular type of tablet. So, even having cintiq and bamboo drivers at the same time often isn't possible.
As for your actual situation, I'm afraid I just cannot divine what's up. There are too many variables! You could follow the checks in http://nonaynever.ru/kwiki/krita/BugWri ... elated_Bug to see if the tablet is even seen as a tablet by Krita. |

Hi,
I could fix it, you were completely right:
Seems, the Cintiq Driveres were not deinstalled completely. I found some additional entries in my program list. After I deinstalled everything and reinstalled the bamboo driveres, everything works perfectly. I was not aware that the wacom drivers are compromising each other. Thank you very much! |
