I'm running Krita 2.9.11 on Windows 10 64 bit, Intel i7-2600 processor. I'm using an ATI R9 295x2. OpenGL rendering is enabled with scaling mode set to high quality filtering, texture buffer disabled (latest version of Krita gives me a blank canvas if its enabled, although it worked fine when I used 2.9.5, haven't tried with other versions).
Enable multiple windows, open an image, then open another image in another window. Close one of them. Select the remaining window and it will crash every time I try to switch to a different layer. I admit I'm running large files (1 to 4 Gb ram used), but Krita is allowed to use up to 14 Gb of memory, with a 16 Gb Krita swap. I don't think its memory related. This didn't happen with the last version I used and I kinda don't want to go back if possible. Trouble is, I do this often as I need to borrow colours from older drawings I made for new drawing to ensure characters don't magically change colours from page to page. |
