Known bug, but we can't fix it because we don't have access to genius brand tablets. |

Yes, of course the crash is still there. I just answered your email to foundation@krita.org (which is not a user support address, by the way). You're using a Genius tablet, and Genius tablets, together with Trust and Peritab tablets crash Krita.
Until someone donates test hardware to the project, we cannot figure out what the driver developers broke and how to work around it; the crash happens right inside the wintab.dll. So: if you want your tablet to be supported, you can do two things: * send your current Genius tablet to us and get yourself a Wacom, Huion or Yiynova tablet, which are supported * get a second Genius tablet and send it to us. Trust, Genius and Peritab tablets are not for sale in the Netherlands (anymore) so we cannot buy one, even if we had the money to spend on obscure tablet brands. |

Hi, I have tried Krista 3 CR 1 I am using the ugee tablet and it also crashes, works fine on 2.9.11 and Krista 3 alpha and beta but not on CR 1, is there a fix for this yet, windows 10 pro 64 bit.
Many thanks Dave |

No, there is no fix for this. You have bought a tablet that we cannot support because we do not have the hardware. If all of you Ugee, Peritab, Genius or Trust owners would club together and collect the money to donate one of those tablets, then we might fix the bug. Until we have the hardware, you will have the crash.

Many thanks for your reply, I don't have a problem with previous versions or the alpha and beta versions, which work correctly. So something seems to have changed, that makes it crash, maybe in the brush engines maybe, as it crashes at the point of painting, and only in this version. Dave |

Well... The tablet code hasn't changed, and we've reports about crashes from Windows users ever since 2.9.7, when we fixed support for the Surface Pro 3. The message is: if your tablet works, it's accidental. If it doesn't work, who knows what's going on? We've even had reports of driver updates causing crashes. Tablet brands not supported unless we have test hardware, and since Wacom, Huion and Yiynova have given us test hardware, those brands are supported.
