What IS your native language? Maybe something super weird is going on with language initialisation(that's when the program sets itself up to use the language in question, so if you have a right-to-left native system, it may not see that you have english, a left-to-right language selected...).

Would you mind taking screenshots on all the tabs of the "Regional and Language Settings" control panel item?

You can type `intl.cpl` (without quotes) on the start menu search bar or the run dialog to get to there.

Ah, thank you very much, we'll try investigating why that was misbehaving then!

Seems that Qt localization isn't using the user-defined setting but instead using the locale setting from Windows. And even then Qt is getting the wrong locale, i.e. it should be using the UI language instead of the user locale or "system locale" (aka. non-unicode ACP codepage) settings.

And it seems that Qt is handling the RTL layout change according to the locale it is using.

Frankly, would it make more sense to disable RTL layout for all locale? It doesn't really make sense to flip the workspace layout like that even for RTL languages, since this is an art program?

That's not under our control, I'm afraid.
